The vision was simple yet profound: We wanted to create a scene of nature that gently complements the hotel’s interior. This wasn’t just about beauty. Since the wall is a permanent fixture, mechanics had to be as strong and intentional as the design. Every layer, curve, and crevice was sculpted to ensure durability while maintaining a sense of effortless flow.
From Rendering to Reality: How a Moss Wall Comes to Life
Before we got started, the creative team measured the framed boxes, in order to create precise renderings. These visual maps guided the design process as to what products we would use in order to achieve the vision. Each moss species was selected allowing colors to harmonize in creating a pattern to follow during the design process.
Design Process: We designed with intention in creating a display that echoed mossy rocks nestled in nature’s quiet corners. Light and dark moss tones mingle with pale reindeer moss, offering contrast and movement—an invitation to pause and admire.
Color Composition: Earthy mosses layered with soft, muted shades.
Dimensional Texture: Hills and valleys sculpted with natural contours for visual richness. With cascading waterfalls creating the effect with rich green hanging amaranths.
In-House Craftsmanship: Frames and panels tailored by on-site carpenters to ensure exact sizing and structural integrity. Skilled floral designers to execute flawless design along with secure mechanics.
Installation in Motion
On installation day, precision met poetry. Before dawn, the team entered quietly— before guests awoke—to bring this landscape to life. ln just an hour and a half, the panels were installed with seamless ease, each panel fitting like puzzle pieces in a living mosaic.
