Randy Lowe

Founder and Director of Creative Design

Randy combines over 25 years in the design profession with a desire to make sensational fresh floral creations. Randy has years of event planning experience in a variety of venues. More importantly, he has an innate artistic ability and unique creative vision. Randy makes no apology for his dislike of trends. “Don’t get me wrong,” Randy says, “ideas from trends can be executed successfully and be sensational. But make your event yours.” He asks his clients to stretch their boundaries and think outside of the box. Randy has built his reputation by ensuring one simple result: that his clients are happy. Customer feedback celebrates his creativity, personality, follow-through, and final product. He understands teamwork, both with clients and his employees. “Behind every great event is a team of talented people with a great leader,” he says. “I have learned first-hand that life is truly a gift. In return, my gift is to provide my talents to create world-class events.” Life’s perfect place in Randy’s eyes is his work. “When the client feels the energy and shares the inspiration for the event, what could be more perfect? I love my work!” Randy grew up in Warner Robins, Georgia and later attended Oral Roberts University. Randy truly feels that it is an honor to represent his company and work with his team. He is a believer that the key to success is recognizing the strengths of those around him, staying humble, keeping integrity, and always following your passion. Family is the most important aspect of his life, he enjoys spending time with his husband, two sons, and dog named Peaches. Randy is a talented singer as a member of the Men’s Ensemble, Active Faith, and the Sanctuary Choir at his church. He is also an avid supporter of his community, sitting as member for the Committee on Inclusiveness as well as a contributor and supporter to local foster parent organizations and Community Based Care of Central Florida whose commitment is to keep kids safe and their hopes and dreams alive. Randy is a committee member in his local ILEA chapter as well as on the board for the Grand Tour Gala.

Jean-Michel

Since coming to the USA thirty years ago, Jean-Michel has been a successful Special Events Executive and Owner in both the corporate and small business arenas.

Founder The Art of the Party in 1992, he provided Event Designs, for full service Events .all over the US and Europe.After 0ver 8,000 events World wide, Jean-Michel decided to sell Art of the Party and went in partnership with InterActivity Creative Services, where he continued to design events.
Now, back in the Special Events industry Jean-Michel offers his professional expertise as co-founder and Partner of “Lowe and Behold Event Design” offering the next generation of Event Design and Custom Furniture Rental mixed with amazing Vlorals making corporate and social events more memorable than ever before.

Jean-Michel is also a weekend racecar driver and motorcycle enthusiast.

Khrystle Rader

General Manager

Khrystle has been in the Orlando Event market for almost ten years. A graduate of the Rosen College of Hospitality Management she developed her love of events on the Sales Team at the Orange County Regional History Center generating venue sales for social and corporate clients. She then moved to Hello! Florida Destination Management where she grew as the Product Development Manager for their creative team. She is a past member and officer of PCMA and an active committee member for the Orlando Chapter of ILEA. Khrystle has had exciting opportunities in her event career – from designing and coordinating for a party at The Special Event to running the green room for Orlando concert events. Khrystle’s love for floral and event design began with growing up in a Bridal shop and gardening with her Grammy. She enjoys UCF football and all things musical. Khrystle is also a foodie and enjoys spending time at local farmer’s markets and locally owned eateries. Her other passions include cartoon sketching, yoga, and being outside. Education is of utmost importance to her as she currently holds multiple degrees and is actively pursuing an MBA from the University of Central Florida. She is a lover of all animals, especially her two cats.

Julie Gennaro

Social + Wedding Sales Manager

Julie was born and raised in Toronto Ontario Canada. At the age of 16, Julie began her floral career starting out as a floral assistant at a small retail flower shop. When she graduated high school she decided to attended Seneca college to study botany and become a certified floral designer. Graduating top of her class, Julie won the Creative Progress Award by the Canadian Academy of Floral Arts. In 2004, she moved to Florida and continued to work as a designer and manage a design team at an event based flower shop. In 2012 she was inducted into the American Institute Of Floral Design where she joined the ranks of the elite top florists from around the world. Julie’s work has been Featured on: The Knot, Borrowed & Blue, Fab You Bliss and many more magazines. In 2013 she opened Julia’s Floral Designs based out of Deland Florida. Within a few years she quickly outgrew her studio and was listed, along with Lowe and Behold, as one of the top 20 florists in Central Florida. Julie is also the mother to a wonderful 11 year old son named Christian and a little Yorkie named Daisy. In her spare time Julie is a member of Krewe Nouveau which raises funds and awareness for non-profit to benefit The Museum Of Art in Deland. She also enjoys going on long hikes exploring the beauty of nature, and Attending as many Yoga Classes.

Annie Davis

Sales Associate

Born and raised in Dayton, Ohio, Annie moved to Central Florida at the age of 18 to attend the University of Central Florida and to begin performing at Walt Disney World. After receiving her degree in Sports Broadcast, she remained with Disney Entertainment for a total of 15 years, dancing in the parades and shows and later teaching those parades and shows to new performers while maintaining entertainment show quality property-wide. She hung up her dancing shoes in 2014 to pursue a career in Convention Services and Events. After gaining invaluable experience at Visit Baltimore and Hello! Florida Destination Management, she discovered her passion for event design and joined the Lowe and Behold family in April of 2017. In her spare time, Annie loves traveling, practicing yoga, going to the beach, brunching on patios, watching sports and spending time with her family, friends and her dog, Brutus.

Georgianna Jackson

Administrative and Event Specialist

Georgianna is a second generation born Floridian born and raised in Orlando and the Central Florida area. Growing up in Apopka, she attended school there and has strong family roots in the community. First working at Walt Disney World, she started on a path to work in the events, hospitality, and theme park industries. With this wide range of experience she worked in Event Sales at the Orange County Regional History Center. There she was the conceptional founder of the I Do Downtown Bridal Crawl and on the inaugural team, leading the creative elements, for the John Young History Maker Event. For fun, Georgianna loves Halloween Horror Nights where she attends the annual event 18 times a season.

Laura Graham Smith

Sales Executive

Laura is now celebrating her 20th year in the floral industry. She began her floral education processing flowers, greening baskets, and working closely with skilled designers and shop owners to learn as much as possible about floral design and the flower business.
She began training as a designer at 18 while attending Valencia College’s honors program on a full academic scholarship. After graduating Phi Theta Kappa on the President’s List, she chose to pursue her passion for floral design full time. Throughout the years, Laura has worked as a designer, a consultant, a buyer, a private instructor and in various roles of management. She has conducted floral workshops for private groups and community outreach programs. Laura is a lover of all things nature – this shows in her passion for creative design concept, pulling from a wide spectrum of inspiration. She enjoys hiking, canoeing, camping and mountain-top yoga.

Jen DeSimone

Lead Floral Designer

Jen started working for her family business when her mom bought a flower shop in 2001. From there her mom has been her greatest influencer, teaching her everything she knows. Jen grew up northing of Boston and has been living in the Central Florida area for the last year. Among Jen’s successes, she is very proud of the degree in Graphic Design that she received from the New England Institute of Art. Jen is a kind and compassionate person and goes above and beyond for clients. In addition to designing gorgeous floral arrangements, she love to draw and paint and enjoys cooking.

Doug Schuyler

Floral Designer

Doug is a lifelong horticulturist with a degree in Ornamental Horticulture from Northeast Louisiana University. Doug believes that growing and arranging plants and flowers go hand in hand, thus giving Doug a unique perspective on design. Being a lover of all things floral, Doug draws his design inspiration from nature and his 35 years of design experience. His team members love his quick wit and sense of humor. Doug describes himself as a nocturnal gardener as he says “the sun is no friend to my skin or ginger hair.” In addition to gardening his hobbies include being a huge fan of the Golden Girls. His other loves include Coke, his go to drink, and maple frosted donuts.

Irma Sanchez

Floral Designer

Irma Sanchez is a Floral Designer and has had a passion in this field since a young age. Growing up in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico, she was surrounded by many tropical flowers and the beauty of nature. Her mother had an exotic garden and raised her children with that passion. It is no surprise that Irma turned to this passion herself and devoted much time to help her mother maintain her garden. With exposure to such a variety of flowers, she started to do her own decorations, which she shared with friends and family. Those around her were impressed by her talent and she was encouraged to enter the field. In 1992 she received first place and High Honors in Advance Florist with the Department of Art and Culture of Puerto Rico. She continues to live her dream to work with flowers and share their beauty with others. Irma is known to work with a smile and always has humor to lighten up the day.

Grizel Montalvo

Floral Designer

Grizel Montalvo Webb was born in New York to Puerto Rican parents but was raised in Puerto Rico where she graduated. She was determined to work with design and flower which was her passion so she attended The Academy Cinderelas located in San Juan, Puerto Rico later to graduate as a Florist and Specialist in Commercial Design. She quickly opened her own business in Bayamon, Puerto Rico and maintained her shop for 5 years. In 1990 she closed her doors because she decided to move to Orlando, FL where she exercised her knowledge while she worked for Fresh Flowers with real blossoms. She continued working for a well-established organization such as Petals. She then decided to explore her field by switching to silk flowers and proceeded by working for companies such as European Home Collections, Natures Gallery and Michael’s Store as Design Coordinator. She loves going to the movies and all types of music. In her spare time, she also likes to go bowling with her three children. Her children were always her motivation to keep striving for accomplishment.
